A familiarization trip to Lankaran and Astara districts was organized on October 8-9 by the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau. 50 representatives of the tourism industry participated in the trip, and the region's tourism opportunities were presented to them on site.
Over the course of two days, participants got acquainted with facilities in both Lankaran and Astara. The purpose of the trip was to introduce the tourism potential of the southern region to industry representatives and to create a foundation for future cooperation.
This format is a direct communication channel for businesses providing hotel, guesthouse and tourism services: industry representatives visiting the region can act as potential partners, suppliers or clients. For entrepreneurs developing accommodation and route products in the southern zone, such events are an opportunity to increase visibility. The real result, however, will only become clear when concrete cooperation agreements emerge after the event.
