Expert: winter festivals can increase tourist flow to the regions
Tourism expert Aziz Shiriyev told AZERTAC that festivals around Shahdag and Tufandag suited to the winter season could attract more tourists to the regions.

Seasonal festivals are proposed to be held near winter tourism centers such as Shahdag and Tufandag. Tourism expert Aziz Shiriyev said this in a statement to AZERTAC.
According to him, the Shahdag and Tufandag winter tourism centers operate in the country. The expert believes that such events should cover not only these centers but also the surrounding districts, creating conditions for the formation of broader tourism routes.
Shiriyev recalled that various festivals are held every year in Baku and the regions, and events dedicated to the distinctive products of the districts attract the interest of tourists. He considers it important to apply the same approach in line with the winter season and snow conditions.
According to the expert, in order to organize the festivals more attractively, extensive advance promotion of the events should be carried out, with particular attention to advertising on social networks. In this case, the flow of tourists to the regions could increase through festive-spirited events and special tourism tours.
