German tourism operators have issued a price warning to Türkiye: families may turn to Egypt and Bulgaria
At the DRV Congress held in Germany, the price increases in Türkiye were discussed. Tour operators stated that the rising prices are particularly putting families in a difficult position and that competition with Egypt and Bulgaria has intensified.

At the DRV Congress held in Germany, the future of Turkish tourism was discussed. German tour operators noted that holiday prices in Türkiye have increased, which is particularly difficult for families, and drew attention to competition with Egypt and Bulgaria.
Türkiye's position was also voiced at the congress: the country aims to spread its tourism across 12 months through culture, gastronomy and sports events.
For the Azerbaijani market, this signal is indirectly interesting: the rise in the cost of trips to Türkiye could increase interest in neighbouring destinations, including Baku. Price sensitivity brings family packages and a transparent pricing policy to the fore for hotels and guesthouses.
