The use of artificial intelligence in the hospitality and food service sector in Turkey increased by 116 percent in one year
According to TÜİK's 2026 statistics, the use of artificial intelligence in the accommodation and food services sector in Turkey increased by 116 percent in one year. Nevertheless, 86.8 percent of establishments still do not use this technology.

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute's (TÜİK) artificial intelligence statistics for 2026, the use of artificial intelligence in the country's accommodation and food service sector increased by 116 percent over one year.
Despite this, 86.8 percent of enterprises still do not use this technology. In other words, the growth occurred on a low base, and the user base is small.
TÜİK's indicators cover only these two fields of activity; no comparison with other sectors is provided.
For the hotel and restaurant business in Azerbaijan, this is a double signal: interest in the neighboring market is growing rapidly, yet the vast majority of enterprises have still not taken a step in this area. The competitive advantage is still not closed off — there is room for those who start early.
