Smoking rules are changing in cafes and restaurants in Turkey
In Turkey, it is planned to ban food and beverage service in smoking sections of cafes and restaurants.
Changes to the rules on smoking in cafes and restaurants in Türkiye are being planned. According to a draft prepared by the AK Party, serving food and drinks in smoking sections is set to be banned.
The draft also envisages a separate section for non-smokers in outdoor areas.
The proposal is still at the draft stage; no information is provided about the date of entry into force or the final text.
