Azerbaijan's tourism potential has been presented in St. Petersburg

At the Creative Economy Days held in St. Petersburg, the representative office of the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau in Russia gave a presentation on the country's tourism potential. The event was organized within the framework of the "Sodrujestvo" TRAVEL HUB international tourism project, with the participation of government bodies, business circles and the expert community of CIS countries.

A business breakfast on the topic "Creative economy and tourism: a strategy for the development of territories" was held at the Tavrichesky Palace. In the presentation, Azerbaijan was presented at the intersection of cultural heritage, fashion and shopping tourism, as well as modern creative industries.

The country was introduced as a tourism destination capable of welcoming guests in all seasons of the year. Participants were informed about the historical and cultural sites of Baku, recreation opportunities at the "Shahdag" and "Tufandag" mountain ski resorts, the national cuisine, winemaking traditions and the "Slow Food Azerbaijan" gastronomy direction. Examples of national craftsmanship — kelaghayi production and jewelry items with Azerbaijani ornaments — were a particular focus of attention.
