Hotels with wellness services show a 108% higher revenue indicator
In 2024, the global wellness economy is valued at 6.8 trillion dollars. Health tourism and spa services are growing faster at 14.5% per year, while hotels with extensive wellness infrastructure achieve 108% higher TRevPAR.

Hotels offering extensive wellness services achieve a TRevPAR (total revenue per available room) 108% higher than competitors without such offerings. This figure is reflected in a report jointly published by Mews and Trybe.
According to the report, in 2024 the global wellness economy is valued at $6.8 trillion and is growing at 7.5% per year. The wellness tourism and spa segment is growing even faster — at a rate of 14.5% per year.
According to Trybe representative Steve Porter, guests are increasingly choosing hotels specifically for their wellness offerings. This trend is also affecting booking systems: Mews and Trybe are collaborating to simplify the booking process for wellness services.
The technology helps both with managing operations and with maximizing revenue from wellness services. The report notes that this encourages hotels to build wellness not as a separate service, but as part of a holistic approach.
In Azerbaijan, spa and wellness services are mainly offered in resort and high-category hotels. For hotel chains in Baku and the regions, this figure shows that wellness infrastructure is not just an additional expense, but a factor that directly affects revenue.
