A notable point at the event was the detection of a 71% difference between hotels' ratings across different platforms: the same hotel can appear with completely different ratings on different sites.
The winners for Africa will be announced on November 26 in Cape Town. The company states that it continues to use review data to improve the guest experience.
For hotels and guesthouses in Azerbaijan, this shows that monitoring reviews on only one platform is not enough: knowing the difference between ratings on Booking, Google and other sites helps to understand which weakness shows up on which channel.
