The Uzakrota Baku Travel Summit 2026, considered one of the meetings of the global tourism and travel technology sector, was held in Baku on October 7. The event took place at the JW Marriott Absheron hotel and brought together more than 1,200 travel professionals, as well as over 100 stand participants.
According to the organizers, the summit created a foundation for regional tourism cooperation.
Holding an event of this scale in Baku is indirectly significant for hotels and guesthouses: it means an additional influx of hundreds of professionals arriving in the city and conference traffic. Local tourism businesses, in turn, gain the opportunity for direct contact with international partners.
